Bernadette Wa Kasanda

Bernadette Wa Kasanda passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 87 in Windsor, Ontario. Born on July 17, 1939, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents, Germaine Mulanga and Theodore Kasanda. She is survived by her husband, Jean Marie Kanolo, and her children: Joseph, Jeanne, Théo (Joelle), Zozie (Claude), Germaine, Dieudonné (Bijou), Pauline (Boniface), Lili (Germain), Christiane (Jean), Marie Chantale (Jules), Esther (Richard), Pierre, and George (Laurence). She also leaves behind her siblings, Kapinga Marie, Kasanda Joseph, Kamuanya Elizabeth, Mpambu Thérèse, Lusamba Rose, and Kalubi Théodore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and family members. Visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on September 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Banwell Chapel, followed by a procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
