Bennett McBride

The family of Bennett McBride announces his passing on September 24, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 14, 1949, in Windsor, Ontario, Bennett is remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Andrew; his children, Peter and Elise; his granddaughters, Rosalyn and Faye; his brother, Gord; and his parents, John Douglas Corson McBride and Dorethea Loraine McBride (Thatcher), both predeceased. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and a funeral service at 2:00 PM, all at Windsor Chapel - Central Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to United Way Windsor-Essex County or blood donations are appreciated.
