Wayne Barre

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Barre of Whitby, Ontario, who departed this life on August 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Wayne was born on August 16, 1942. He was predeceased by his parents, Serena and Raymond Barre, as well as his sisters, Ramona Grey and Donna Brown. Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his daughters, Tammy and Lynn; and his grandchildren, Patricia, Krystal, and Patrick. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Monika, Owen, Emma, and Kelsey, along with his sisters, Brenda Barre, Elaine Michaluk, and Lorena Ross. A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Port Whitby Marina, followed by a burial on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Bond Head Cemetery in Newcastle, Ontario.
