Ruth (nee Eastwood) HEWSON

Ruth Hewson (nee Eastwood) passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Bonar Law, Ontario, she moved to Whitby in her teens and built a rich, full life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Clarence Hewson; her parents, Lillian (Roblin) and George Eastwood; and her sister and brothers, Helen, Glynn, and Jack, and their spouses, Clifford, Mildred, and Betty. Ruth is greatly loved and will be forever missed by her daughters Susan and Karen, sons George and Brian, her daughters-in-law Peggy and Martine, her grandchildren Karen (Brandon), Andrew (Margie), Tracy (Jazz), Brenda (Justin), and Kelly, and her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed the love and fondness of her nieces and nephews Ruth Ann, Linda, Mary, Cathy, John, and David and their families. A visitation will be held on November 24, 2025, at All Saints Anglican Church, Whitby, at 1:00, followed by a service at 2:00.
