Petronella Van Den Hoogen

Petronella Van Den Hoogen of Whitby, Ontario, passed away on August 21, 2026. She is survived by her husband Gerry; her children Henry (married to Connie), Frank, Wilma (married to Jerry), Thomas (married to Miriam), Ruth (married to Vic), Nicole and Elizabeth; and her grandchildren April, Holly and Derek (married to David). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas St E, Whitby, ON L1N 2H7. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R 3L4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her honour.
