Carolyne Cryderman

Carolyne Cryderman died peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, aged 58. She was born in North Bay, Ontario, and spent the majority of her adult life in the Durham Region. A registered nurse for 27 years at Scarborough Health Network Centenary Hospital, she was noted for her calm demeanor, empathy, and listening skills. Carolyne enjoyed exercise, cooking, travel, reading, concerts, and hosting gatherings, and she cherished time with her cats and horses. She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Glenn Cryderman (2021), and her sister Kathryn Neahr. Survivors include her father Claude Tetreault, sister Virginia Neahr, brother Christi Neahr, children Cole and Britney Cryderman, granddaughter Isla, partner Dan Mallen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home.
