Kurt Jr. ORTNER

Kurt Ortner Jr. peacefully entered into rest on June 5, 2026, at Kingston General Hospital, at the age of 71. He was the son of the late Kurt Ortner and Ingeborg Ortner (nee Hainzl) of Ottawa. He was the cherished husband of Anne Ortner (nee Christofolakos) of Wellington. He is also survived by his brother Wolfgang (Dawna), sister Susan (Adam Stroup), and brother Helmut (Dorothy) Ortner. He was a proud uncle of Adam Ortner, Samantha Stephens, Brianna Stephens-Christofolakos (Terry Mallon), and Aidan Christofolakos. He was the son-in-law of John and Margaret Christofolakos of Prescott, and brother-in-law of John Christofolakos (Ana Louisa), Michael Christofolakos, Peter Christofolakos (Kim Stephens), and Louise Christofolakos. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Ainsworth Funeral Home. Donations to Kingston General Hospital, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Autoimmune Research are greatly appreciated by the family.
