BRIAN GERARD MCLAUGHLIN

BRIAN GERARD MCLAUGHLIN passed away peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the much loved husband of Sheila McLaughlin. Brian is survived by his brother, Paul, and sister, Peg. He was predeceased by his brother, Bob. Brian had a passion for target and competitive shooting, and he loved to travel, having made many visits to England and Wales. He volunteered as treasurer for the Friends of Sandbanks Park in 2006 and worked with them for 14 years. Brian also set up militaria displays of antique equipment and uniforms for legions and veteran's groups, often impressing when wearing World War I or II uniforms. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at the Wellington Cemetery, Wellington, ON on Wednesday, May 27th at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ainsworth Funeral Home.
