Edward HEISE

Edward Herbert Heise passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 93, at the Hospice Waterloo Region. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Catherine Ann Heise, in 2023, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Ed is survived by his children, Kevin, Dianne, David, and Pete, as well as his grandchildren, Samantha, Ben, Emily, Nickolas, Shaelyn, Joel, Samantha, and Sierra. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Malachi, Carson, and Evelyn. Ed was the brother of Katherine Heise and brother-in-law of Doreen Wagner, and was predeceased by his brothers Wilbert and Fred. Following his retirement from Schneiders after 42 years, Ed volunteered with Labourers for Christ and Habitat for Humanity. He was a lifelong member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Wellesley. The family will receive relatives and friends on August 16 from 2-4 p.m. at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, and a funeral service will be held on August 17 at 11 a.m. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
