Allan Nelson GERBER

Allan Nelson Gerber passed away peacefully at his home in Wellesley on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in North Easthope Township to the late David and Barbara Gerber, he was the loving husband of Merle for 69 years. Allan is survived by his children Bonnie, Roger, Brad, Randy, and Lori, as well as his sister Katie and several sisters and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his children Barry and Megan, and his siblings Robena, Esther, and Melvin. Allan will be remembered by his grandchildren Ryan, Brock, Nolan, Ashley, Matthew, Taylor, Kelsey, and Tyler, and his great-grandchildren Owen, Brayden, Blake, Colton, Nash, Carter, Myles, Walker, and Logan. A devoted member of Tavistock Mennonite Church, Allan lived his faith and enjoyed participating in sports teams. Friends may visit at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home on Tuesday, and funeral services will be held at Tavistock Mennonite Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Julie Ellison White officiating. Donations in Allan's memory may be made to the Wellesley Food Cupboard or Tavistock Mennonite Church.
