Yvonne Eileen McClentic

Yvonne Eileen McClentic (Mannering) was born on April 25, 1930, in Simcoe, Ontario, to Margaret (Phillips) and George Mannering. She passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at the age of 96, residing in Welland, Ontario. Yvonne married Murle McClentic, and later shared a partnership with Earl Little. She was predeceased by her husband Murle (1975), partner Earl Little (2006), daughter Linda (1993), and brother Don Mannering. Survivors include her children Len and Laurie; grandchildren Brianna Williams, Denise McCreary and Dax Blanchard; great‑grandchildren Jaymz Blanchard and Chloe Ernest; extended family, many nieces and nephews, the Little family, and sisters Connie Zalwasky and Bonnie Dean. Yvonne worked many years as a dietary aide at Sunset Haven in Welland and enjoyed gardening and visiting family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (4 Apostles), followed by a celebration of life at the Lions Hall on Hurricane Road in Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Welland Humane Society in her honour.
