Venita Evelynne Robbins (nee Gent)

Venita Evelynne Robbins, née Gent, was born on July 19, 1930, and died suddenly on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her son Fraser Robbins (2024), her husband Leo Robbins (2000), and his sons Gary Robbins (2005) and Jeffrey Robbins (2004). She also predeceased her siblings Jacqueline Beck and Richard Gent. Survivors include her daughters‑in‑law Nicole, Nancy and Patricia, her sister Carol Diener, her brother Alan Gent, and her grandchildren Heather, Greg, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Jayne, Jennifer, Ashley, Meaghan and Joshua, together with fifteen great‑grandchildren. An active member of Wesley United Church, she will be remembered there. Visitation will be held at Wesley United Church, 244 First Avenue, Welland, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. and interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
