Robert Ducharme

Robert Ducharme passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 84. He died peacefully with his family by his side at the Welland Hospital. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude Demers Ducharme (2021), his parents, Patrick and Albertine, and his sisters, Huguette Souter (2021) and Doris Lecompte (2022). He is survived by his sister, Lise Marcoux (Mike), and his stepchildren, Laval (Diane), Helene, Mario (Jacqueline), Liette van Niekerk (Martin), and Sylvain (Joanne). Robert was also a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Welland Hospital for their care and support. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be determined at a later date.
