Paola MODAFFERI

Paola Modafferi, 95, of Welland, Ontario, died at her home on August 17, 2026. Born in Casignana, Italy, in 1931, she immigrated to Canada in 1955 and spent many years employed at Wabasso in Welland. After retiring she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, gardening, caring for family, and cooking. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and her husband Antonio, who died in 1979. She is survived by her son Tony and his wife Janet, and by two grandsons, Stephen (son of Tianna) and Ryan. The family also expressed gratitude to her personal support workers Jill, Susan, Nicole and Angela for their care. A private funeral will be held at J.J. Patterson Funeral Home on August 24, 2026, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
