Mr Joseph Michel J Plamondon (Michel)

Mr. Joseph Michel J Plamondon, known to many as Michel, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family at Hospice Niagara-Walker House, Welland Site. He is survived by his former wife, Elaine, and their children, Daniel and his wife Kait, and Nicholas and his wife Amy. Michel is also survived by his grandchildren, Audrey and Elliot, and his companion, Beau. His siblings, Claudette Froude and her husband Harold, Ghislaine Vandenbosch, Donald and his wife Diane, Pauline Falardeau and her husband Nelson, Diane Crumm, Jacqueline Vethaak and her husband Jack, and Ivan and his wife Cheryl, along with many nieces and nephews, will deeply miss him. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Malvina Plamondon, his sisters, Stella and Lilliane Cameron, and his brother, Gérald. Michel was a talented musician, composer, and photographer who loved his family above all else. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a funeral mass was held at St. Alexander Church in Fonthill, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family is grateful for the care Michel received and appreciates memorial donations to Hospice Niagara-Walker House, if desired.
