Morley KITCHEN
Morley Kitchen passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by love at Hospice Niagara in Welland, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Carol of 66 years, daughter Susan, son Robert, grandchildren Brent and Meredith, son-in-law Paul, and daughter-in-law Katie. Morley had a distinguished 22-year career with the RCMP, followed by 13 years as a provincial prosecutor and subsequently served as a presiding justice of the peace for Ontario from 1987 to 2000. A Brock University graduate, he was a loyal fan of the Brock Badgers basketball teams. Morley grew up on a farm in Picton and was known for his sense of humour and generosity. Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held in Welland this summer, and he will be interred at Glenwood Cemetery in Picton in August. Donations in his memory may be made to the Niagara Hospice or the Niagara Parks Foundation.
