Ligita Ilona LICKMAN

Ligita Ilona Lickman passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late David Lickman. Ligita was a loving mother of Cathy Martin (Wayne), Kimberley D'Angelo (Brian), and Tracey Lickman-Major (Kirk). She was predeceased by her sons, Michael and Tim. Ligita's greatest joy was being a grandmother to Samantha Hill, Tabitha Martin, Georgia Major, Owen Major, David Lickman, and Rebecka Lickman, and a great-grandmother to Emory, Timothy, Arya, Sandra, Lucy, and Oliver. The family will receive friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, June 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Ligita's life will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Thursday, June 18th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hope Centre would be appreciated by the family.
