Katie MACKENZIE

Katie Mackenzie passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Welland Hospital. She was a devoted and loving mother to Maxine Laframboise (Garry) and Lila Dixon. Katie will be cherished by her sister, Millie Harmon (the late Jess). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Len Laframboise (Vickie), Marc Laframboise (Christina), Jerry Dixon (Tanya), and Hollie Dixon, and a great-grandmother to Elija and Hayden Dixon. Katie was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Sophie Zabolotnuik, her first husband, Jerry Johnson, her second husband, Bill Mackenzie, and her brother Stan Zabolotnuik. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Welland Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
