John Mario BOSAK

John Mario Bosak passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 69. He was the son of the late John and Emelia Bosak and brother of the late Dr. Edita Bosak. John leaves behind his son, Johnathan, daughter-in-law, Brianne, granddaughter, Leah, niece, Sonja, nephews, Barnett Jr., Ranjeet, Neil, Shawnray, Rajash, his sister, Anna, and many cousins in the Slovak Republic. He worked as a welder and held various other trades, including HVAC operator and 2nd class oil burner technician. John was a longtime member of the Welland Slovak League and enjoyed activities such as fishing, tinkering, and working on cars and quads. He also maintained a tomato garden every summer and spent time with his pets, Cooper and Jasper. John received excellent care on the Trillium Ward of the Greater Niagara General Hospital, particularly from Nurse Practitioner Mary Anne and the many nurses who cared for him. Cremation will follow a visitation at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 221 Division Street in Welland, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
