John Chesniak

John Chesniak of Welland, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his parents, Eudocia and Ksenty Chesniak, his wife Margaret, and his siblings, Olga and Mike. John is survived by his sister Mary, sister-in-law Mavis Chesniak, and his children: Sherry Anderson (Rob), Mark Chesniak (Rita), Terry Morabito (Jeff), and Jeff Chesniak (Sandy). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Shaye-Lynn Yaskovitch (Mike), Blake Anderson (Kayla), Brenna Cameron (Matthew), Bryan Chesniak (Krystal), Natasha Lawrence (Philip), Makayla Marozsan (Joshua), Tyler Chesniak (Shawnee), and Jason Chesniak, along with his great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at J. J. Patterson & Sons, followed by a masonic service and funeral service. Burial will occur at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
