James John Roynon

The family announces the passing of James John Roynon of Welland, Ontario, on August 31, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on April 22, 1940, James shared many meaningful moments and relationships throughout his life. He was predeceased by his son Mark and siblings Arthur Jr. (Sonny), David, Mary (Darryl Fretz), and Margaret Miatello. James is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean, sons David (Beverly) and Brent Roynon, siblings-in-law Bruce Cosby, Shirley Culp, and Norma Cosby, granddaughters Heather and Corinne (Jordan), and great-grandchildren Nash and Dean. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Welland Hospital, the Alzheimer's Society, and the PSWs for their compassionate care.
