Jacqueline "Jackie" HARDY
Jacqueline "Jackie" Hardy passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at the Foyer Richelieu Care Home, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on April 29, 1926, in St. Sylvère, Quebec, Jackie lived in various locations across Quebec and Ontario, enjoying winters in Florida with her husband, Rolland Perron, during their early retirement. A determined individual, she contributed to the war effort by working in a munitions factory and later co-owned a restaurant in Toronto before becoming an accountant for several prominent companies. Jackie inspired her many nephews and nieces to pursue education and hard work. Known for her love of fine clothing and spirited cars, she purchased a BMW 328i at 85 and drove it well into her 90s. Jackie is survived by her sister Cécile (Bruno) St. Cyr, numerous nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Doris Poulin. The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Kundi and the staff at the Foyer for their exceptional care. A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on September 2, 2026.
