Helen (née Brown) BIRO

Helen Biro (née Brown) passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the loving and devoted wife of Frank Biro Sr. (2020), cherished mother of Frank Jr. (Nancy) and David (Shelley), and proud 'Grandma B' to Steven, Scott, and Shawn. Helen was also the loving sister of Herman (Butchy) Brown, and is predeceased by her parents, Herman and Mary Brown (Braun), her in-laws, Frank and Emma Biro, and eight siblings, Mary Kondash (William), Joseph Brown (Chris), George Brown (Florence), Anne Smith (Grant), Lena Dennis (Roy), John Brown (Arlene), 'Bill' William Brown (Dee), and Liz Colquhoun (Alan). Cremation has taken place, and friends and family are welcome to attend visitation on February 4th, from 6-8 p.m. and February 5th, from 10-11 a.m. at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, with a Chapel Service at 11 a.m. and inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In memory of Helen, the family welcomes donations to Alzheimer's Society.
