Gordon Malcolm GONYOU

Gordon Malcolm Gonyou passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Connie (nee Nold) for 50 years. Gord was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Mickey Gonyou. He is survived by his brothers, Rob (Wanda) Gonyou and Jim (Diane) Gonyou, and his sister, Pat (Randy) Chambers. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Darlene Descheemaeker (late Don), and brother-in-law, Dale Nold. Gord will be profoundly missed by his nieces and nephews and their families, as well as his afternoon 'family' at the Borderline and his Wilcox-Agro 'family.' The family will receive their friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, on Friday, May 22nd, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., followed by committal at Holy Cross Cemetery. A celebration of Gord's life will be held at The Rex dining room from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. If so desired, donations to the Welland Humane Society would be appreciated.
