Garrett "Garry" CARPENTER

Garrett 'Garry' Carpenter passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 19, 2026, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 80. He was the devoted and loving husband of Louise (nee Aceti) and the proud father of Krista (Andrew) and Ryan (Kathy). Garry is survived by his brother Michael (Debbie) and leaves many happy memories as the treasured grandfather of Hannah, Roan, and Mallory Carpenter and Gabriel and Nathaniel Steele. He was predeceased by his parents, Garrett and Irene Carpenter; his brother John Carpenter (Mary Ann); his sister Mary Jane Baker (late Earl); his in-laws John and Rose Aceti; and his grandchildren Emma and Joah Carpenter. A private service will be held for immediate family. Donations may be made in Garry's memory to Simcoe Community Living or Special Olympics Orillia. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to H.L. Cudney Funeral Home.
