Frederick John "Fred" BOYER

Frederick John Boyer, known as Fred, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, in his 90th year. He was the cherished father of Janice Zehentbauer and Karen McCarthy, and the adored grandfather of Georgina McCarthy. Fred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ann, who passed away in 2024, as well as his parents, Henry and Yolanda, brothers Brian, Larry, and Hank, and in-laws in New Zealand. Born in Port Colborne in 1936, Fred was the second of the four Boyer boys. He is survived by his daughters and granddaughter. Fred and his family spent much time sailing on Lake Erie, and he and Ann were long-time members of the Lakeside Yacht Club.
