Damiano MORRONE

Damiano Morrone passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Welland Hospital at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of Maria for 65 years. Damiano was the dear father of John, Dany, and Peter. He is also survived by his siblings, Frank and Cosimino. Damiano was the cherished Nonno of Mitchell, Colin, Nick, Riley, and Taylor, and great grandfather of Henry. He was predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Maria, as well as his siblings, Anna and Pino. Family and friends are invited to the Welland Funeral Home on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Church, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
