Catherine Effie Penny (Cathe)

Catherine Effie Penny, known to family as Cathe, died in Welland, Ontario on August 14, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born in Toronto on June 18, 1957, the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Penny. Cathe was predeceased by her brother Charlie. She is survived by her sisters Peggy Stirling, her husband Jim, and Theresa Penny; her brother Peter Penny and his wife Louanne; nieces and nephews Brent Stirling and his wife Jessica, Ian Stirling, Amy Hammond and her husband Alex, Natalie Penny and Matthew Penny; and great‑niece and great‑nephew Lincoln and Vada Stirling. Her home was shared with her dog, Tango. Details of funeral or visitation arrangements were not provided.
