Carole Thomson (née Zezella)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carole Thomson (née Zezella), who peacefully departed on August 31, 2026, at McNally House Hospice. Carole was a devoted mother to Jamie Thomson and a beloved sister to Dave Zezella (Denise). She was a treasured aunt to Michael (Paige) and Curtis (Kellie), and her memory will be cherished by her close friends Catherine and Anna. Carole had a special bond with her dog, Bluebelle, who provided her with unwavering companionship. Known for her vibrant spirit, Carole enjoyed traveling, cruising, and her numerous trips to Las Vegas, creating joyful memories with loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Gertrude Zezella, and her brother, Danny. The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Thermabala, Dr. Conen, her PSW Yvette, and the staff at McNally House Hospice for their exceptional care. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carole's life at the Welland Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McNally House Hospice.
