Bernard Yelle

Bernard Yelle of Welland, Ontario passed away on August 14, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean Charles and Lucienne Yelle, his step‑father Justin Audet, and his sisters Aime (Jean‑Guy), Paul‑Emile (Michel Yves), Gisele, Flo, Huguette and Patricia. He is survived by his wife Irene Yelle; his daughters Lorraine (TJ) and Linda; his grandchildren Claudia and Davyn; his mother‑in‑law Therese Audet; his sisters Gracieuse (Claude) and Louise; his sisters‑in‑law Mimie (Yves) and Jackie Quinn (Brian); his brother‑in‑law Denis Audet (Judy); and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation & Reception Centre, 827 E Main St, Welland, ON L3B 3Y8. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish Community of St. Kevin, 303 Niagara St, Welland, ON L3C 1K5, followed by an urn‑laying at Holy Cross Cemetery, 50 Woodlawn Rd, Welland, ON L3C 3J5 at 12:00 p.m. In memory of Bernie, donations may be made to the Dementia Association of Niagara Region.
