Barbara Emily Myrtle "May" HILL

Barbara Emily Myrtle Hill 'May' passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 22, 2026, at the age of 89, in the Welland hospital. Born to Archibald Alexander Maxwell May and Pearl Emily Neiuwrighter, she was the loving sister and sister-in-law to Ernie and Shirley, Pearl and Ruben, John and Nancy, David and Margarette, Ruth and Philip, Sarah and Joe, Marilyn and Frank, Margaret and Jim, Sam, Kenny, Elsie, George, Beatrice and Roger, and Donald and Rose. She married Gordon William Hill, who predeceased her. Barbara was the loving mother and mother-in-law to Barbara and Butch, Victor and Linda, Deborah and Rod, Heather and Claude, and Frederick and Melba. She is survived by many grandchildren, including Michael, Paul, Tammy, Elizabeth, Gord, George, Melanie, William, Jamie, Michael, Alex, Kevin, Fredrick, and Ashley, as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, followed by refreshments at Pleasantview Funeral Home.
