William John Whaley

William John Whaley of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on March 14, 1930, William was a cherished member of his family and community. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Diana, as well as his parents, David and Nellie Whaley, and his sisters, Mary Jane Harding and Elizabeth Ann Staples. William is survived by his children, Jim (Diana), Robert, Peter (Mabe), and Margaret (Mark), along with his grandchildren, Jillian (Matt), Sadie (Dee), Cole (Sam), Annabelle, Oliver, and Lennon. A celebration of life was held on August 30, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home. In his memory, donations to Sunbeam Community and Developmental Services or KidsAbility may be made through the funeral home.
