Thomas Allen Erle THOMPSON

Thomas Allen Erle Thompson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at WRHN at Queen's Boulevard in his 100th year. He was born in 1926. Thomas is survived by his eight children, Carol, Marshall (Dawn), Robin (Beverly), Colleen, Elizabeth (Allan), Allan, David (Julie), and Steven (Natalia), as well as his 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marilyn (née Lucas), his parents Chesley and Ina (née Gracie), and his brothers and sisters, Mildred, Arden, Georgina, Ralph, Percy, Joyce, Susan, William, and Betty. Thomas began his distinguished military career at the age of 17 and served for 36 years, including postings across Canada and overseas. After retiring from the military in 1979, he began a second career in Kitchener with Diemaco (now Colt Canada). Thomas and his wife shared a lifelong passion for curling and golf, and he achieved three holes-in-one. He will be fondly remembered for the many stories he shared and the laughter and memories he created with family and friends.
