Sinnathamby Thambithurai Ariaratnam passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the age of 93, with his family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ariarani, and his four sons, Samuel, Daniel, Michael, and Joel, as well as his grandson, Anton, and his sister, Devi. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Thambithurai and Annamuttu, his brothers, Tharmaratnam and Selvaratnam, and his sister, Ranee. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 17th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo. A funeral service will take place in Waterloo on Saturday.
