Russell "Russ" David Schildroth

Russell David Schildroth passed away peacefully at Hospice Waterloo on July 15, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace Dianne for nearly 60 years. Russell is survived by his children, Angela Knox and her late husband Brett, and Bradley and his wife Stephanie, as well as his grandchildren, Callum and Grace Knox, and Liam and Brielle Schildroth. He was predeceased by his siblings, Harry Schildroth, Shirley Rothwell, and John 'Jack' Schildroth. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home in Kitchener on July 21, 2026, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on July 22, 2026, from 9:30-10:15 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. and a reception. Private interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family.
