Richard "Dick" Trussler

Richard 'Dick' Trussler passed away peacefully at AgeCare West Williams on August 5, 2026, at the age of 90, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Shirley Kuehl, daughter Thea Trussler, sister Andrea Smythe, stepdaughter Judy Thompson, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Dick was predeceased by his first wife Carol Trussler, stepdaughter Linda Rittinger, and friends Dennis Harlock's late wife Maureen. A dedicated pilot and sales manager, Dick worked with Simplicity and Home Hardware for over 25 years. He was an active member of the 404 Wing Club, Probus, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The family thanks the staff at AgeCare West Williams for their care and support. Visitation will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on August 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service and reception. Private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church or the Alzheimer's Society.
