Reverend Father Pasquale, (Pat), CR Aiello

Father Pasquale Patrick (Pat) Aiello, CR, passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 95, at Resurrection Manor, Waterloo. He was in his 96th year of life, his 77th year of religious life, and his 70th year of ordained priesthood. Father Aiello is predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Giulia (nee Aceti) Aiello, brother Gaetano (Ida), nieces Anita Aiello, Andrea Aiello, and nephew Stanley Aiello. He is survived by his brother Philiberto (Lena), cousins Mario and Elvira Aiello, nephew Joe (Shirley), and nieces Giulia Bittle (Gary) and Gina Aiello, as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends. Father Pat professed his religious vows in the Congregation of the Resurrection on September 8, 1949, in Dundas, and was ordained to the ministerial priesthood on September 22, 1956, in London. He served in various roles, including teaching at North Bay College and St. John's College, acting as Rector of Resurrection College Seminary, and ministering as Pastor of several parishes.
