Penelope Prudence (née Lauber) HUBBARD

Penelope Prudence Hubbard (née Lauber) passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, at Midtown Hospital in Kitchener-Waterloo, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Keith, her sister Jocelyn Lauber, and her children Laura, Jane, Matthew, and Robin, as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Penelope was 80 years old at the time of her passing. She was a dedicated genealogist, naturalist, and photographer, with a passion for preserving the history of Waterloo County and promoting conservation efforts. Penelope was also an active member of her community, serving as the first female president of the Drumbo Fair Society and organizing the annual Hunter Jumper Equestrian Show. Alongside her husband, she was a partner in the family's dairy farming operation. Her legacy will be remembered through her countless contributions to her community and her loved ones.
