Patti HASKELL
Patricia (Patti) Haskell, of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on May 14, 1947, to Ronald and Dorothy Doyle, Patti was raised in Etobicoke, the eldest of five children. After her father's passing when she was 12, she took on a parental role to help raise her siblings. Patti is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steve Haskell; daughter Kate (Corey) Woods; grandsons Xander and Eli; siblings Dorothy (John) McGinn, Michael (Gaston Comeau) Doyle, and Pam Doyle (Glen Easton); brothers-in-law Al Haskell and John Black; sister-in-law Pat (Don) Roets; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Predeceased by parents Ron and Dorothy, stepfather Donald, and sister Kathy Black. Patti attended Teacher's College in Toronto, then moved to attend Waterloo Lutheran University, now Wilfred Laurier University. She began her career in education, teaching at St. Jacob's Public School, and later held various administrative roles, including superintendent of schools and Director of Education for the Waterloo Region District School Board, a position she held until retiring in 1999.
