Michael Hassan Taka

Michael Hassan Taka of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away on August 7, 2026. He was predeceased by his sister Fatime and his parents, Hamide and Rasim. He is survived by his daughters Julie (married to Damian) and Suzie (married to Sarah); his siblings Mexhite (married to Agim) and Xhevit (married to Nadire); and his nieces and nephews Hene, Jennifer, Jim, Tim, Liri, David, Chris, Lindita, Adem, Rushan and Joni. A graveside service was conducted on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, ON. A celebration of life followed the same day from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 50 Old Kingston Road, Scarborough, ON.
