Kurt Lade

Kurt Lade of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on April 7, 1934, Kurt is remembered for the connections he forged and the experiences he shared with those around him. He was predeceased by his parents, Friedrich and Anna Lade, and his siblings, Fritz, Wolfgang, and Eleanore. Kurt is survived by his beloved wife, Elisabeth Lade, and their children: Peter (Susan) of New Dundee, Marianne Emmerton of Waterloo, Herb (Kelly) of Shrewsbury, MA, and Mark (Lisa) of Toronto. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice, Waterloo Regional Health Network, or The Humane Society of KW & Stratford Perth, with a preference for Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice.
