Kenneth Alvin HILKER
Kenneth Alvin Hilker passed away peacefully at WRHN-Midtown in Kitchener on July 25, 2026, at the age of 100. He is survived by his children Karen, Cheryl, Wendy, Cathy, and their spouses, as well as his step-children Bruce and David. He will be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Kenneth was predeceased by his wives Elise and Shirley, his parents Melinda and Alvin, his brother Donald, and his sisters Bernice and Marlene. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Kenneth was a founding member of Grace Lutheran Church in Kitchener, where he served the Lord and raised his family with Christian values. He proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and later dedicated 35 years to Canada Post, retiring as a postal officer. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo on August 4, 2026, followed by a funeral service and reception. A private family interment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Kitchener at a later date.
