Joan Helen FACKOURY

Joan Helen Fackoury passed away peacefully at Fairview Mennonite Long-Term Care Home on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 92. She is now reunited with her husband of 54 years, Tony Fackoury. Joan was a loving mother of Steve, Mark, Andrea Hilker, and Donna Meagher; dear grandmother of Nathan, John, Sean, Mark Jr., Rachel, Hannah, and Renée; and great-grandmother of Samuel and Nora. She was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Hannah Shantz, her son-in-law Ron Hilker, and her three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12 p.m. with a reception to follow. Cremation will follow the service, and private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to KW Access-Ability or a charity of your choice can be arranged through the funeral home.
