Greta Kent

Greta Kent passed away peacefully at WRHN - Midtown on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the age of 93. She was the loving mother of Rob Kent (Kim), Martin Kent (Juliana), and the late Betty Ziffle and Dorothy White. Greta is survived by her sons-in-law Harold Ziffle and Edward White. She was a proud grandmother of Stephanie Ziffle, Jamie Ziffle, Jennifer White, Stewart, Mitchell Kent (Nicole Isabel de Silva), Alexandra Kent, and a great-grandmother of Eleanor Isabel Da Silva Kent. Greta is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Ted Kent and her 19 brothers and sisters. Greta's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lupus Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
