Gail Douglas

Gail Douglas passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 90. She is survived by her husband Donald Schmidt, sons Geoffrey (Val), Kevin, Derek (Dianna) Douglas, and daughter-in-law Jill Livingstone. Proud Nanny Gail to Brian (Melissa), Brittany (Cael), Jessica, Emma, and Arden. Also Jim, Mandy, and families. Gail will be deeply missed by Gwen and Larry Degen, George and Patricia Selgrad, and many friends. Predeceased by her first husband Brian Douglas (1974). Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the Memorial Service to begin in the funeral home's chapel at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
