Doug GRISCHOW

Douglas Frederick Robert Grischow, a resident of Waterloo, Ontario, passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener on September 3, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 17, 1936, in Kitchener, Doug led a life characterized by faith, dedication, and a profound love for his family. He was the devoted husband of Joanne (nee Zehr) for 67 years and a cherished father to Jeff (Yvette), as well as a proud grandfather to Syd and Theo. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Ford Grischow, his sister Jean, and his infant daughter, Cheryl. His career at Dare Foods spanned several decades, culminating in his role as vice president of manufacturing. Doug was also deeply committed to volunteering, dedicating over 20 years to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and serving with the Association for Manufacturing Excellence. He enjoyed tennis, golf, and skiing, and he and Joanne traveled extensively. Doug's legacy of service and love will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
