Dieter Hohendorn

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Dieter Hohendorn of Waterloo, Ontario, who departed this life on October 6, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Englebert and Ilse Hohendorn; his brother Achim (Heidi); and his brothers-in-law, Felix (Christel) and Waldemar. Dieter is survived by his beloved wife, Edith; his sister Dagmar (Frank); his sister-in-law Heidi; his sons, Bernie (Charlene) and Peter (Shannon); and his cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Stephanie, Kristy, and Matthew. Visitation took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, located at 171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7. A funeral service followed on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dieter's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington.
