Corinne Esther (Eissfeldt) HURAS

Corinne Esther (Eissfeldt) Huras passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 98 at Heritage House in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Born on September 18, 1927, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Corinne was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Ralph William Huras (2001), her son John, her grandson Scott, her parents, Rev. Arthur and Marie Eissfeldt, her brother Rev. Richard Eissfeldt, her sister Ruth Swartz, her brother-in-law Rodney Swartz, her siblings-in-law Elmer Huras (Agnes), Ruth Leyes (Walter Kuehner, Francis Leyes), Rev. Bill Huras (Barbara), and Ralph's parents, William and Frieda. She is survived by her children, Jeanette Kennel (Tim), Jeff Huras (Debra), Mark Huras (Lynn), Pauline Chapeskie (Kevin), her grandchildren, Laura (Joe), Emily (Rhys), Tricia (Doug), Greg (Krista), Amy, Sarah (Jared), Rebecca (Josh), and James, and her great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Asher, Arthur, Elsie, Hailey, Hannah, Natalie, William, Nolan, Benjamin, Jacob, Clara, and Henry. She is also survived by her brother Lawrence (Bud) Eissfeldt, his wife, Myrna, and her sister-in-law Ann Eissfeldt, as well as her goddaughter, Sherry, and many other nieces and nephews.
