Clive WHITBY

Clive Whitby passed away peacefully at Hospice Waterloo on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Betty for 58 wonderful years. Clive was a loving father of Jevin and Larissa, and a cherished grandfather of Austin, Seth, and Wyatt. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother, Owen, of New York, USA. Clive was self-employed and worked in the sheet metal industry for over 45 years. He was known for his enormous heart and willingness to lend a hand. Clive was passionate about Formula One racing and enjoyed family vacations to Florida. He and Betty spent two months each year at Walt Disney World Resorts and at Casey Key, Florida. Clive will be remembered for his clever sense of humour, unwavering kindness, ferocious intelligence, and generous spirit. Cremation has taken place, and in accordance with Clive's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or donations to WRHN Foundation - Cancer Centre, The Humane Society of Kitchener, Waterloo, Stratford Perth, or the Canadian Wildlife Federation may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home.
