Alma Jean RONALD

Alma Jean Ronald, née Johnston, passed away peacefully at her home in Waterloo on July 6, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on July 15, 1933, in Kintail, north of Goderich, Ontario, Alma was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She grew up on a farm along the shores of Lake Huron, developing a strong work ethic that stayed with her throughout her life. Alma had a successful career as a bookkeeper in Toronto and Waterloo, and was also an accomplished pianist, earning her Grade 8 certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She enjoyed swimming and bowling, competing in a women's five-pin bowling league well into her 80s. Alma will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and quiet determination.
